The New York Times has created quite an impressive interactive article that details and imagines what the city would look like if it had actually won its bid to host the Winter Olympics.

The images you see here were created by Angel Franco and Richard Perry by superimposing Winter Olympics event constructions such as the downhill course and luge over New York City locations like Times Square and Bryant Park.
